Social Justice + Wellness =
Collective Healing

Womxn of Color Summit is a brave space for BI&WoC to show up authentically in community, where you are seen, uplifted and empowered.

We are redefining what wellness and healing can look like when it is accessible to all.

We are an inclusionary space for womxn/women-identifying and non-binary people of color to share stories, build connections, and make impactful change.

Our intention is to celebrate and inspire BI&WoC on their journey of ancestral reclamation, community care, and soul evolution.

We center the voices and work of Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color, including those identifying as womxn. We are deliberately inclusive of members of non-binary, femme, and transgender communities within the healing, wellness, social justice, and creative arts spaces.

Together we envision what wellness and healing can look like when it is accessible to all. This can only happen if we focus on collective care.

This community is for you if you want to embody your truest potential, learn to move with joy and self trust, own your power, empower those around you, thrive within your ancestral practices, connect back to your roots and create a life of freedom.

Womxn of Color Summit is here to support your homecoming to your true self.

We are inherently creative beings with unlimited potential but we can forget the spark within ourselves.

Both summits took attendees on a journey that involved decolonization, celebration, and connecting with their spiritual and ancestral lineage. Both summits are rooted in yogic ideas of the self as divine and therefore inherently worthy and creative. This experience included pre-recorded speaker interviews, interactive workshops, and thoughtful introspection. Stay tuned for 2022.

Bi-Annual Group Program

Deepening Your Spiritual Practices in Community

A twelve-week group program led by Summit Co-Creators, Harpinder and Irene, for folks looking to deepen their spiritual practice in a mindful, loving community. This has come as a result of our community members wanting a deeper way to connect with one another and having a committed time and space to grow. This will be a brave space for transformational self-care where you will be seen and supported. We will be exploring and using specific tools like meditation, ancestral work, breathwork, lunar magick, tarot, and asana. Featuring special guest facilitators.

Monthly New Moon Gatherings

Spirit & Community Check-ins

Every month we hold a New Moon Gathering facilitated by a BI&WoC healer where we hold intentional space for community to reflect, to pray, and to plant seeds. New Moons are symbols of awakenings, beginnings, and invitations. In the past, we have had facilitators lead Akashic Record meditations & breathwork, play sound baths, work with spells and ritual work, facilitate yoga asana, do ancestral work, and so much more. These are always donation-based care circles where we will work together to manifest our desires into life with ritual.

Womxn of Color Summit Podcast

The Womxn of Color Summit podcast came from a desire to learn from WOC about how they are stepping into their power and embodying their life purpose while dismantling oppressive systems. Join your hosts Harpinder Mann and Irene Lo as they support BI&WOC on their journey of self-love and soul-care by highlighting speakers who can speak to authentic living.

LISTENER REVIEW:

“If you are looking for content that talks about healing and inner work through an intersectional, social justice, and empowering lens, think of this podcast as an offering to you and your journey. While so many wellness, spiritual, and self-help arenas are dominated by whiteness and capitalism, Irene and Harpinder do a wonderful job in navigating real conversations and creating a space for BIWOC folks to learn from one another and thrive.”

I felt welcome & relaxed. I could be my whole self in this space.

“It's not something I feel in most wellness spaces. I am so happy I attended! What a beautiful community of strong womxn sharing their stories of resiliency and healing together. I left the summit feeling empowered, connected, inspired, validated, and loved. Thank you to everyone who made this happen - organizing & speaking & leading workshops. Eternally grateful for this experience and looking forward to the next one!”

I was reminded that healing is not just for you but for your community, that it is a journey that will probably take a lifetime but that it is to be done at my own time.

“I also was reminded of how important it is to be gentle and compassionate with myself and to work on the shame that I place on not living up to certain expectations.”

— S.H.

The summit really authentically created a safe, supportive space for attendees to feel like they could really show up as themselves.

“I could feel the energy in the virtual rooms and it was so beautiful and refreshing to experience. This summit not only made you think when you were in the sessions, but continue to have deep reflections after.”

— C.T.

Thank you for the Soul Buddy program! Often events like these can feel really impersonal especially now that we're all virtual.

I had a nearly 2 hr zoom chat with my Soul Buddy and it was a wonderful connection. We're going to go through all the recordings together and meet for weekly sharing & reflection. Fantastic way to make the event sooooo much more personal. I wish all summit/conference type events did something like this.”
